This is my first purchase from Multiverse Gaming: a finely detailed MDF model, nicely engineered. As per the downloaded instructions, a sharp hobby knife is essential for removing the pieces without tears. The bulk of the model is made from laser-cut MDF, but much finer pieces are cut from "greyboard" (thin cardboard) -- special care needs to be taken with these finer pieces, particularly the hand rails next to the coach driver's seat, and the luggage rails along the top: the driver hand rails are particularly fragile, more so than with any other MDF model I've assembled. The fine details are worth it, though, as even when unpainted the model looks impressive. Laser-cut details (the Wells Fargo & Co. lettering across the top, and the decorative filigree on the side panels) make it so that only basic painting is required to make it look finished.
I especially appreciate that two alternate "tongue" pieces are included (with four cross-pieces) so the wagon can be set up for a team of either two or four horses, and you can adjust the positions for slight variation in horse miniature scale. It looks pretty nice with my Chronoscope and Deadlands western-themed miniatures (around 32-34mm scale), but also looks reasonable for some older 28mm scale (measured from bottom of feet to eye level) western minis I also have.
There's no interior detailing, but that can fairly easily be added with a bit of modding. It's an impressive amount of 3D detail from 2D pieces, and fairly straightforward to assemble (with the PDF instructions). I'm very happy and now that I've tried this out, I'll have to try out some more of Multiverse Gaming's options.
