The assay office was an important part of each mining colony, allowing the prospectors to estimate the value of the metals they dug up and some of these buildings - like the one we made into the Tombstone kit - also served as a place where land and mining grants and permissions were issued. A building where precious metals and valuable documents can be found? Well, scenarios are practically writing themselves with a kit like this!
- removable roof
- detailed woodgrain engraving
- opening and removable front door
- lasercut shingle strips for the roof
- option to assemble each window as either open or closed
- interior detailing, including engraved floor boards and a desk with a chair
The kit comes unassembled and unpainted. Assembly instructions available in the "Download" tab.

Top notch! Great quality, and stunning look. I really love all the "paper" details too.

Great looking Kit
was easy to assemble and as always the details multiverse pours into these kits make it outstanding compared to other companies.
In assembling the only part which could be explained better was the roof interior side - although as I am a seasoned bulder I figured it out myself, still if this is your first kit you ever assemble you might frown to see where both rectangles go. The roof is supposed to be a bit larger then the wallfootprint so dont expect an exact fit.
The extra furniture that comes with this kit is a great add on !!
so - 5 sheriffstars for me ;)
